Pitch is an upcoming American drama television series set to be broadcast on Fox in 2016. The series has been comissioned on May 10, 2016.[1]
Plot
The series, set in the Major League Baseball, sets it's focus an a young female pitcher who becomes the first woman to play in the league.

Development
A pilot was written on September 8, 2015, by series creators Dan Fogelman and Rick Singer[2] On January 14, 2016, Fox ordered the pilot to be shot.[3] The creators opened up a casting call on February 24, 2016[4] The pilot episode was picked up to series on May 10, 2016.[5]

The series is being filmed in San Diego, California.[6]

On January 14, 2016, Kylie Bunbury was cast as Ginny.[7] On February 11, 2016, Mark-Paul Gosselaar was cast as Mike Lawson.[8] On February 23, 2016, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo were cast as Blip, Evelyne, and Eliot respectively.[9] On February 29, 2016, Dan Lauria was cast as Al Sciutta.[10] On March 10, 2016, Ali Larter was cast as Amelia Slater.[11] On May 10, 2016, Mark Consuelos was cast as Team General Manager & President.[12]
