Franz Frederick Anton, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld (b. Coburg, 15 July 1750 - d. Coburg, 9 December 1806), was a duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld.
He was the eldest son of Ernst Friedrich, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld and Sophie Antonie of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.
Franz Frederick succeded his father in the duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld when he died, in 1800.
In Hildburghausen on 6 March 1776 Franz Frederick married firstly with Sophie of Saxe-Hildburghausen. She died on 28 October 1776, only seven months after her wedding; there were no children born of this marriage.
In Ebersdorf on 13 June 1777 Franz Frederick married secondly with Auguste Reuss zu Ebersdorf und Lobenstein. They had

- Leopold I (1790-1865), first king of the Belgians
- Maximilian (1792-1793)
Duke Franz Friedrich is the grandfather of both Queen Victoria (through her mother Viktoria) and her husband, Prince Albert (through his father Ernst).
His descendants established ruling houses in Belgium, Great Britain, Portugal and Bulgaria. His son Leopold ruled as Leopold I of the Belgians. His grandchildren Victoria and Albert ruled Great Britain. Another grandson, Ferdinand, ruled as King-consort Ferdinand II of Portugal. Finally, a great-grandson ruled as Ferdinand I of Bulgaria.
