Barabati stadium

Barabati Stadium is a cricket ground in Cuttack, Odisha, India. It is the home ground of the Odisha cricket team, and has played Test cricket matches, One Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals. The first Test at Barabati Stadium was between India and Sri Lanka in 1987.[1] Up to date, it hosted 2 Test matches.[2]

The first ODI was held in 1982 when India played England. It has hosted 19 ODIs up to date.[3] Single T20I match has held in the ground between India and South Africa in 2015.[4]

In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five-for" or "fifer")[5][6] refers to a bowler taking five or more wickets in a single innings. This is regarded as a notable achievement.[7]

Only two fifer has taken at Barabati Stadium, where both came in test matches.
