The Kologdam Building is a colonial landmark in Bandung. In the 1920s, the building was part of an annual trade fair complex Bandung Jaarbeurs (annual trade fair). Currently the complex was converted into a military complex for the Education and Training Command Headquarters Kodam (Kologdam) III / Siliwangi.

The building was build in 1920, originally served as Bandung Jaarbeurs. During the colonial time, Annual Fair was held around the complex of Bandung Jaarbeurs every June and July. Various exhibitions of regional industries from Priangan and surrounding area were held in the building.[1]

Architecture

Bandung Jaarbeurs was designed by Schoemaker, a prominent architect in the Dutch East Indies, in Art Deco. The floor plan is cross-shaped. Three sculptures of human figures decorate the top of the front facade.

The building is located within a complex for exhibition purpose. The building behind the front building is the Machinehal.
