Checked! This data is about urbanization (all urban and rural areas within Limassol District) and does not apply to single urban area of Limassol. Subtropical-man talk

@Subtropical-man: The urban pop. in each of the districts as defined by the census is that of/surrounding their capital city's. You can verify this by adding up the populations of adjacent communities and municipalities. Source show number of people who live in urban and rural areas within (whole) Limassol District, according to the urbanisation. These data does not apply to urban area of Limassol city. These are two different things. Also, apart from the fact that there are few towns in Limassol District which are at a greater distance from Limassol city, you can not analyze (rural/urban) municipalities around Limassol city etc, this is violate the principle of . @Subtropical-man: Oh please, you're counter-speculating -- but you've not even got any evidence to show for it. The census people have designated settlements around district capitals as urban. It is as simple as that. Indicatively, Paralimni is a town with a population of about 15k, but all of Famagusta District is considered to be rural. We could simply note in the article that the figure is reported as the total urban population of Limassol District. For the record, Demographia's most likely source is the 2001 census, which reported an urban pop. of 160,000. This would mean that, not only was "their" figure calculated in the exact same manner, but it is also 14 years out of date. 213.7.22.7 (talk) 14:03, 29 November 2014 (UTC))

I repeat the last time: source show number of people who live in urban and rural areas within (whole) Limassol District, according to the urbanisation. Data include all urban buildings / settlements within Limassol District, including those that do not have anything to do with the city of Limassol. Also, Demografia is source from May 2014, it is doubtful that based on data from 2001, most likely be based on data from the 2011.

Your insinuations violate two main rules of Wikipedia: Wikipedia:No original research (your opinions, analysis) and Wikipedia:Verifiability (source show number of people who live in urban and rural areas within (whole) Limassol District not in urban area of Limassol city). It does not matter from which year. Your source clearly show number of people who live in urban (180 201) and rural (155 129) areas within Limassol District. Your source not show number of people in urban area of Limassol city. Your edit clearly break two rules of Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research. Topic is closed.
