Got7 (Korean: 갓세븐; stylized as GOT7) are a hip-hop boy group based in South Korea. Produced by JYP Entertainment, Got7 comprises seven members, two which originally debuted as the pop duo JJ Project in 2012. Got7 made their official debut on Mnet's M! Countdown on January 16, 2014. [1]

JB

Im Jae-bum (Korean: 임재범; Hanja: 林宰範), better known by his stage name JB (Korean: 제이비) is the leader of Got7. Born on (1994-01-06) January 6, 1994 (age 30) in South Korea, JB originally debuted as a member of the duo JJ Project in 2012. He signed with JYP Entertainment after winning first place on the JYP Trainee Open Recruitment 5th Audition, where he tied in first place with bandmate Jr.[citation needed] He appeared in Dream High 2 with T-ara's Jiyeon and Kang Sora. He was one of the cast members on the first season of The Romantic & Idol, he paired up with Rainbow's Seungah and Fiestar's Jei on the show.[citation needed] On the "4 Things Show", JB revealed to be a film student and that he wants to become a film director.[citation needed] JB is the current leader and lead vocal.

Mark

Mark Tuan Yi-en (Chinese: 段宜恩; pinyin: Duàn Yí'ēn; Jyutping: Dyun6 Ji4 Jan1), simply known as Mark (Korean: 마크) is a member of Got7. Born on (1993-09-04) September 4, 1993 (age 30), Mark is a Taiwanese American from Los Angeles, California and attended Arcadia High School during his childhood. Mark was scouted on the streets of LA and is a rapper. Mark is also the best at martial arts tricking.[clarification needed] Mark has two older sisters named Grace and Tammy, and a younger brother named Joey. His parents are from Taiwan.

Jr.

Park Jin-young (Korean: 박진영; Hanja: 朴珍榮), better known by his stage name Jr. (Korean: 주니어) is a vocal of Got7. Born on (1994-09-22) September 22, 1994 (age 29) in South Korea, Jr. originally debuted as a member of the duo JJ Project in 2012. He is 178 cm tall. He signed with JYP Entertainment after winning first place on the JYP Trainee Open Recruitment 5th Audition, where he tied in first place with bandmate JB. Jr. attended Kyunggi High School. He appeared in Dream High 2 along with his bandmate, JB. After GOT7 was formed, he had guestings on variety shows like KBS' pilot episode of God of the Dining Table and SBS' 1000 Songs Challenge( with JB, Youngjae and Jackson). He has two older sisters. Jr. takes on vocal and dance parts.

Jackson

Jackson Wang Ka-yee (Chinese: 王嘉爾) simply known as Jackson (Korean: 잭슨) is from Hong Kong. Born (1994-03-28) March 28, 1994 (age 30), Jackson attended American International School Hong Kong and was a member of the Hong Kong National Fencing Team. He started fencing at the age of 10, and was trained by his father Wang Rui-ji, a former coach for the Hong Kong fencing team. His mother is Zhou Ping, a gold medalist at the World Gymnastics Championships. Jackson and his older brother were also trained in gymnastics.[2] Wang was part of the team which represented Hong Kong at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. In 2011, Jackson won first place at the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship.He was also featured as a rapper for Sunmi's mini album "Full Moon" in the song "Frozen In Time (멈춰버린 시간)".[3] While playing basketball, Jackson was scouted by the JYP casting team and won first place among 2000 other candidates during the JYP Global Auditions. He is currently in charge of rap and martial arts tricking.[clarification needed]

Youngjae

Choi Young-jae (Korean: 최영재; Hanja: 崔榮宰), simply known as Youngjae, is a main vocalist of Got7. Born on (1996-09-17) September 17, 1996 (age 27) in South Korea, Youngjae attended the Seoul Arts High School. Youngjae was only a trainee for 7 months before debuting in GOT7 and is the last of the members to join. He has an older brother and older sister.[4]

BamBam

Kunpimook Bhuwakul (Thai: กันต์พิมุกต์ ภูวกุล), better known by his stage name BamBam (Korean: 뱀뱀). Bam Bam was born on (1997-05-02) May 2, 1997 (age 27) in Thailand. He was Enrolled in Pramoch Wittaya Raamindara School. Bam Bam was scouted from JYP Global Audition and is in charge of rap and dance. He has two older brothers and younger sister.
