Rajaraja Cholan is a 1973 Tamil film about the life of the Chola king Rajaraja Chola. The film has Sivaji Ganesan playing the title role. This high-budget production was the first CinemaScope film to be released in Tamil.[1] Sivaji Ganesan's portrayal as Rajaraja Chola was critically acclaimed.[2] Though, it opened to mixed reviews, this film was one of the many 100 days film of Sivaji Ganesan.

The soundtrack album was composed by Violinist Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan. The lyrics were written by Tirunavukkarasar, Kannadasan, K. D Santhanam, Poovai Senguttuvan and 'Ulunthurpettai' Shanmugham.
