Daniel Klein is an American assistant professor of computer science at the University of California, Berkeley.

He was educated at Mt. Lebanon High School and was awarded BA in mathematics, computer science, and linguistics by Cornell University, a Master of Studies (MSt) in linguistics by Oxford University and a Ph.D. by Stanford University.
