Ronald Valentine Truhbuhovich, ONZM (born 1930) is a medical doctor and pioneer of critical care medicine in Auckland, New Zealand.
Background
Trubuhovich, who is of Croatian parentage, spent his childhood in Auckland. He was educated at St Peter's College of which he was Dux in 1946 and 1947.[1]
Medicine
He gained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Otago) (1953), Bachelor of Medical Science (Otago)(1960) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (with distinction, Otago (1961). He was awarded the J. Malcolm Prize in Psychology in 1961 and the Gregg Essay Priz in Psychiatry in 1962. He gained a Nuffield Scholarship in 1964.[2]
