In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the dergholoth, or derghodaemon, is a type of yugoloth.

Publication history

The derghodaemon first appeared in the first edition Monster Manual II (1983).[1]

The dergholoth appeared in second edition in the Monstrous Compendium Outer Planes Appendix (1991).[2] The dergholoth appeared for the Planescape setting in the first Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix (1994).[3]

The dergholoth appeared in Dungeon #150 (September 2007).

Description

A dergholoth is a yugoloth that serves as one of the infantry and rank-and-file mercenaries. Dergholoths have round bodies with five arms and three legs with insect-like heads.[4]
