Nigel David Forster Grindley FRS is a British biochemist and Professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University.[1]

He studied at the University of Cambridge (BA, 1967) and London University (Ph.D, 1974). [1]. He taught at University of Pittsburgh.[citation needed]

He was a 1987 Guggenheim Fellow,[2] and won a 1991 MERIT award from the National Institutes of Health.[3]

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2006.[4]
