Robert Hunter better known as Hunter, also as Huntz (born 1975 - died 20 October 2011) was an Australian rapper and hip hop artist, a founder of Perth, Australia's hip hop scene and a member of the MC collective Syllabolix Crew (SBX for short). He died after a battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2009, generating huge support and charity drive to pay for his expenses.

Hunter emerged as a major artist in the 1990s as a battle MC. During his career, he released four albums.[1] At the time of his death, he was working on a charity track in support of youth cancer organization CanTeen.[2] The album Australian Hip Hop Supports CanTeen will be released before Christmas with tracks from Hunter, Hilltop Hoods, Drapht, Downsyde, Koolism, Bias B, Hermitude and others[1][3]

A documentary entitled Hunter: the Documentary was made about his career and battle with cancer battle.[4]

He was survived by his wife Laura and his 5-year old boy Marley.
