Song |
"Neva Soft" is a song by UK garage, R&B and hip hop singer and rapper Ms. Dynamite as the first single from her upcoming third studio album. It was released on 4 September 2011 as a Digital download.
Critical reception
Robert Copsey of Digital Spy Blog gave the song a positive review stating:
"Original bad girl pon the radar," she spits over juttering percussion and minimal D&B beats courtesy of oh-so-trendy hitmaker Labrinth, whose production is brimming with earworm hooks - including an anthemic, hands-in-the-air "Woaah-Oh" chant. The result? When she informs us, "Know me she were neva soft ya know," reflecting on her ten years in the biz, it's hard not to think, 'You could have fooled us love, but we're glad to have you back!' [1]
Music video
A music video to accompany the release of "Neva Soft" was first released onto YouTube on 12 August 2011 at a total length of three minutes and fifty-five seconds.[2]
