Andy & Kouros

Andy & Kouros (Persian: اندی و کوروس) were a very famous[citation needed] Iranian duo made up of Andranik Madadian (better known as Andy) and Kouros.

Andy and Kouros were first introduced at a Siavash Shams concert by Siavash himself who was a good friend of Andy.[1] Andy and Kouros released 4 albums consecutive albums: Khastegary (1985), Parvaz (1988), the hugely successful album Balla! and finally Goodbye (1991), an ominous title as the duo split in 1992, with both Andy and Kouros going on to have successful solo careers.

Balla! is considered one of the greatest and most successful albums in Persian music history.[citation needed] The album was produced by Elton Farokh Ahi and consists of lyrics by Jaklin and Leila Kasra. Balla! comprises 10 songs many of which became huge hits, most notbaly "Niloufar".[2]
