Cage of Gold is a 1950 British drama film directed by Basil Dearden and starring Jean Simmons, Herbert Lom and Bernard Lee.[1] A young woman gives up her stable life and leaves her fiancee for a married man, who gets her pregnant and then abandons her. [2]
