X Factor is a new television music talent show in Kazakhstan contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions based on The X Factor series. It will be broadcast on the Perviy Kanal Evraziya channel in Kazakhstan. The auditions are under way since January 2011. The first series of the show will air starting May 2011.

After the auditions, 24 candidates were chosen, 8 in each of three categories 25 and lower, above 25 and groups.

  • Up to 25: Darius Akparova, Ruslan Berdimato, Eliza Dzhakereeva, Alexander Filatov, Darius Gabdulla, Louise Karimbaeva, Abdulkarim Karimov, Ruslan Krivenko
  • 25 and over: Maral Dzhusupova, Asel Karsybaeva, Eldar Myrzahanov, Yuri Mukhortov, Gulzhiyan Ospanov, Julia Pereima, Dmitry Tsoi, Margarita Tumanyan
  • Vocal groups: Musaev sisters, Vladimir Kim & Marina Beysehanova, Ansari (trio), Dee Kree (duet), Thanks (trio), Sweet (duo), National (duet), Faith Kahn & Serik Salmakeev
