The following is a list of characters appearing in the animated television series, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The series itself is based on the fictional comic book superhero team the Avengers published by Marvel Comics.

He usually goes with a diplomatic method of settling things, but will fight if need be.
Pym will assume his Yellowjacket alter-ego as the show progresses.[2]
Black Panther / T'Challa James C. Mathis III[3] "Welcome to Wakanda" T'Challa was exiled from the country of Wakanda when his father was overthrown as the King by the Man-Ape. He sought out the Avengers' help to regain his homeland.
Captain America / Steve Rogers Brian Bloom[4] "Meet Captain America" Steve Rogers is America's first Super Soldier. Captain America became frozen in the depths of the ocean while trying to thwart the Red Skull's escape in World War II for decades, but he was found and revived by the Avengers. He joined the Avengers after he helped them fend off Baron Heinrich Zemo and defeat Doughboy.
Hawkeye / Clint Barton Chris Cox[1] "Hulk Versus the World" Clint Barton is a former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Barton was betrayed and framed by his former partner the Black Widow and was remanded to the Vault. Hawkeye managed to get out during the mass-breakout. Bent on clearing his name, he teams up with the Avengers to fight evil and expose Black Widow as a double-agent. When footage from Hawkeye's hovercycle proved his innocence, Hawkeye ends up joining the Avengers as part of Hulk's condition of rejoining.
Hulk Fred Tatasciore[1] "The Coming of the Hulk" Hulk is a misunderstood monster, forced into a life of running from military forces and fighting by the ever-vigilant General Ross. His alter-ego, Bruce Banner, decided not to get rid of the Hulk after talking to him and coming to believe that there is a place for the Hulk in the world. He left the team, but later rejoined in the wake of stopping the Leader's Gamma World plan.
Bruce Banner Gabriel Mann "The Coming of the Hulk" Dr. Bruce Banner is the Hulk's alter-ego. He agrees to allow the Hulk to remain physically in control of their body in exchange for the Hulk helping the Avengers.
Iron Man / Tony Stark Eric Loomis[4] "Iron Man is Born!" Tony Stark is a billionaire inventor whose creations have fallen into the hands of groups like S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA. Tony Stark uses his high-tech suit of armor to try to reclaim what is his and to stop the untold destruction that both organizations bring with his tech. He is acting leader of the Avengers and supplies them with resources from data to vehicles to expenses.
JARVIS Phil LaMarr[1] "Iron Man is Born!" Tony Stark's trusty AI system integrated into his armor and the facilities of Stark Industries as well as Avengers Mansion.
Thor / Thor Odinson Rick D. Wasserman[1] "Thor the Mighty" Thor is the Norse God of Thunder who is the son of Odin and one of Asgard's strongest warriors. Thor chooses to spend his time on Midgard to help the humans deal with superhuman threats. He also told his father that he will come to the aid of Asgard if a major attack on Asgard occurs. He is also attracted to the brave and selfless paramedic Jane Foster.
Wasp / Janet van Dyne Colleen O'Shaughnessey[1] "The Man in the Ant Hill" Janet van Dyne is Hank Pym's business partner. Jan is impetuous and the youngest Avenger. She came up with the idea of naming the team "The Avengers" and is flirtatious with Henry Pym, though he is oblivious to the fact.

Later, she is exposed by Hawkeye of the crime to Quartermain, but Black Widow had gotten away.
Maria Hill Kari Wührer "HYDRA Lives!" Maria Hill is Fury's second-in-command.
Mockingbird / Bobbi Morse Elizabeth Daily "This Monster, This Hero" Bobbi Morse served under Hawkeye when he and Black Widow captured the Hulk. She later becomes Mockingbird to help Hawkeye track down Black Widow.
Clay Quartermain Troy Baker[5] "The Big House" Clay Quartermain is a high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agent working directly for Fury. He was the one who discovered that Whirlwind is actually a mutant and later discovered that Graviton was still asleep before the mass-breakout occurred.
Jimmy Woo Nolan North[5] "Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Jimmy Woo was a security officer working at the Vault.
Mandroids "HYDRA Lives!" The Mandroids are Iron Man-like armor built by S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Red Skull battled Captain America in World War II where his plot involved bringing Asgardian creatures to Earth and use them to attack the Allied Forces.
Baron Strucker / Wolfgang von Strucker Jim Ward[7] "Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Wolfgang von Strucker was one of Red Skull's lieutenants in World War II and is the current head of HYDRA. Strucker has survived to the modern era due to a gauntlet he uses as a lower right arm in place of the one he lost. Baron Strucker's gauntlet absorbs the youth of anyone he touches with it.
Grim Reaper / Eric Williams Lance Henriksen "Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Grim Reaper is an agent of HYDRA and the brother of Wonder Man. He has a technological scythe for an arm. The Grim Reaper was jailed in his attempt to break Baron Strucker out of the Vault.
Arnim Zola Grant Moninger[7] "The Big House" Arnim Zola is a cyborg biochemist who works for HYDRA and Baron Heinrich Zemo.
Doughboy Grant Moninger "Living Legend" Dougboy is the creation of Arnim Zola.
Madame Hydra / Viper Vanessa Marshall[8] "Gamma World, Part 1" Madame Hydra is one of the heads of HYDRA. She was revealed to be a Skrull in disguise in "Widow's Sting".

Baron Zemo / Heinrich Zemo Robin Atkin Downes[3] "Breakout, Part 1" Baron Heinrich Zemo is one of Captain America's enemies back in World War II. He created the imperfect HYDRA serum that granted him longevity and led to the Red Skull's mutation. His attempt to infect the Allied Forces with Virus X went horribly awry when Captain America broke the container causing it to spill on Heinrich Zemo. Many years later, Heinrich Zemo escapes from the Raft and plans to retake HYDRA from Baron Strucker only to hear that Captain America is alive. Baron Heinrich Zemo seeked out Arnim Zola who lent him Doughboy to help him in his plot. After his defeat at the hands of the newly reawakened Captain America, Enchantress and the Executioner approach Zemo, on behalf of Loki, to lead a team of supervillains and destroy the Avengers.
Enchantress / Amora Kari Wahlgren[3] "The Isle of Silence" Enchantress is a powerful Asgardian sorceress who works for Loki. She and Executioner arrived in New York in a plot to control the Hulk and use him to destroy the Avengers. The Avengers and Hulk managed to defeat Enchantress and Executioner, but they get away. Enchantress became a founding member of the Masters of Evil when she and Executioner approached Baron Heinrich Zemo.
Executioner / Skurge[8] "The Isle of Silence" Executioner is the Enchantress' loyal underling who wields a large battle axe which not only rivals Mjolnir as a battle weapon but also allows him to cut rifts into other dimensions and project fire and ice at his foes.
