The 44th Air Refueling Squadron is an inactive United States Air Force unit. It was last assigned to the 4050th Air Refueling Wing, stationed at Westover AFB, Massachusetts. It was inactivated on 1 January 1963.

History

Established as a KC-97 Stratotanker squadron, providing aerial refueling for [{B-47 Stratojet]]s of the 44th Bombardment Wing. With retirement of B-47 at Chennault AFB in 1960, moved to Westover AFB as part of SAC provisional 4050th ARW. Inactivated in 1963.
