TV total is a German late night television comedy talk show that runs since March 8, 1999 on Pro 7 and is currently aired from Monday to Thursday at 22:15 CET.

Created, produced and hosted by Stefan Raab, TV total particularly makes fun of some of the funniest moments or quotes seen and heard in other shows on German television, but it also features Raab in his outside reports as well as in talk with various national and international celebrity guests. The show has its own band and most of the guest musicians and comedians regularly perform live on stage.

Since February 2001 the show also features Elton as Raab's intern and sidekick.

Sex and the city star Kim Catrall surprised viewers in November 2005 by being able to speak some German, revealing she even lived in Germany at one point in her life since her husband back then was German. [1]

Bass player and nude enthusiast Evil Jared Hasselhoff from The Bloodhound Gang recently stripped nude on TV Total in December 2005. He even showed off his testicle, which had the logo of show painted on it. Some in Germany have compared the appearance to the Janet Jackson Super Bowl controversy. [2]
