Henry X of Chojnów (Polish: Henryk X chojnowski; b. 1426 - d. bef. 28 May 1452), was a Duke of Lubin (Lüben) (during 1441-1446 with his brother, as co-rulers), Chojnów (Haynau) (since 1452), Brzeg (Brieg) and Złotoryja (during 1449-1450 with his brother, as co-rulers).

He was the second son of Louis III, Duke of Oława-Lubin-Chojnów, by his wife Margareta, daughter of Bołeslaw IV, Duke of Opole.

Life

In 1441, after the death of his father, Henry X and his older brother John I inherited the Duchies of Lubin and Chojnów together as co-rulers. Their mother, the Dowager Duchess Margareta, received Oława as a widow's land (Oprawa wdowia).

The hard financial situation forced Henry X and John I to pledged Lubin to the Dukes of Głogów in 1446. In 1449 both inherited Brieg, but one year later also pledged this land, this time to the Dukes of Opole. At the end, the brothers only retain Chojnów and Strzelin, who ruled together until Henry X's death withourt issue, leaving John I as a sole Duke.
