Philine powelli is a species of sea snail, a marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Philinidae, the headshield slugs.
Distribution
This headshield slug is endemic to New Zealand.
Description
The shell is rather small, the surface sculptured with spirally pitted grooves. The outer lip is produced upwards beyond the spire in a spinose process.
Shell height is up to 8.2 mm, and width is up to 6 mm.
