Hydatina albocincta is a species of a sea slug, a marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Aplustridae. Its common names include white-banded bubble, white-striped bubble and clown paper bubble.
Distribution
This species is found in South Africa and Hawaii, and from Japan south to northern Australia straying to northern New Zealand.
Description
The shell is very thin and fragile, with a wide white aperture. The lip goes beyond the apex. The columella is smooth and thin.
This species is not as common as Hydatina physis.
Coloration is very variable, white or light brown to a deep red, with four broad brown spiral bands.
Height is up to 52 mm, and the width is up to 46 mm.
