Loire Aviation

Loire was an aircraft manufacturer specialising in seaplanes, based in Saint-Nazaire, France.

Founded as a naval construction company, after World War One it focused on providing seaplanes for the French mail service, combining it knowldge of metal work and naval construction to create a highly competitive product. It was eventually merged with the Neufeld company to form Loire-Neufeld.
