This is a list of wind farms in Victoria, Australia, having a generating capacity of more than 5 MW.[1]

Victoria has some of the best wind resources in Australia, along the southern coast and in the higher altitude areas. Most of Victoria's wind farms are being built along the southern coast and around the Ballarat, Ararat, and Hamilton areas.[2]

The policies of the former Howard Government hindered the development of wind power in Victoria. Most of the wind farms built before 2008 were quite small, and the total installed capacity for the state in February 2008 was around 130 MW. But the situation is changing and two wind farms with capacities over 100 MW each (Portland Wind Project and Waubra Wind Farm) are under construction, several more have been approved, and more again proposed.[2]
