Cytora pannosa is a species of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to the South Island of New Zealand.

Shell description

The shell resembles Cytora pallida but with spiral sculpture confined to microscopic lirations on the base only. The axials are membranous, inconspicuous except for two spiral series of scale-like projections, one at the periphery and the other on the base.

Coloration of the shell is uniformly olive-brown.

Shell height is up to 4 mm, and width up to 3.25 mm.
