Brookula annectens is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.
Distribution
This species is endemic to New Zealand, found around the Three Kings Islands.
Habitat
This snail is found at depths of about 260 m.
Shell description
The shell is minute, white, depressed-turbinate, thin, and umbilicate. The spire is the same height as the aperture. The sculpturing is strong, with sharp-crested axials, interstices two to three times the width of the ribs. The surface is weakly spirally striate, about 12 striations on the penultimate whorl. The aperture is circular, and the peristome is thin-edged and separated from the body whorl.
Shell height is up to 1.1 mm, and the width is up to 1.2 mm.
