Minor CTU agents in 24 is a list of employees of the United States government organization called CTU on the fictional television series 24. The entries below are characters who have had an arguably minor impact or short duration of exposure during the series' run.

Tom Baker

Tom Baker [1] (portrayed by Daniel Dae Kim) first appeared in Day 2 as a field agent under the direction of Jack Bauer. His first task required saving Kate Warner from capture by terrorists. Later, he assisted in the capture of Syed Ali.

During Day 3, he worked with Chase Edmunds to track down Stephen Saunders.

Scott Baylor

Scott Baylor [2] (portrayed by Scott Denny) was an analyst who investigated the mole involved in the assassination attempt on Senator David Palmer on Day 1. He discovered that a key card's magnetic strip had been used to store encrypted information, but the owner of the card had wiped all personal information from it before handing it over.

Fearing for his life, Baylor wanted to resign and be with his family, but Director Richard Walsh convinced him to remain at his post to help uncover the people responsible for the threat against Senator Palmer. Baylor agreed to stay, but was killed by an assassin's bullet shortly thereafter.

Carrie Bendis

Carrie Bendis [3] (portrayed by Danielle Burgio) was an agent who got into a verbal spat with Lynn McGill shortly after he took control of CTU during Day 5. McGill attempted to fire Bendis, leading to his removal from command.

Bendis was reinstated and discovered a breech in the ventilation system software during a system check. Reporting her findings to Edgar Stiles, he instructed her to investigate the anomaly. Once she entered the ventilation control room, a Dawn Brigade terrorist named Ostroff murdered her.

Howard Bern

Howard Bern [4] (portrayed by Robert Cicchini) was a field agent who was part of a covert operation led by Jack Bauer to extract Lee Jong, an associate of the terrorist Habib Marwan, after Lee took refuge at the Chinese consulate in Los Angeles. Though the team successfully extracted Lee, a major diplomatic incident occurred when the Chinese consul was accidentally killed by friendly fire during the incident.

CTU and the White House initially denied any involvement, but Chinese agent Cheng Zhi managed to identify Bern when his mask was briefly pulled up by a guard and caught on a surveillance camera. Bauer and Bill Buchanan arranged for him to go into hiding, but Bern was apprehended by Cheng before he could reach his hiding place. Faced with the possibility of spending the rest of his life in a Chinese prison, Bern reluctantly implicated Bauer as the leader of the operation. Bern was presumably released after this.

Rick Burke

Rick Burke [5] (portrayed by Marty Papazian) was an interrogator during Day 5 and 6.

During Day 5, Burke interrogated Christopher Henderson and got him into CTU Medical before the Sentox nerve gas was released.

Later, Burke interrogated Audrey Raines when Collette Stenger named her as the source of the schematic for Wilshire Gas Company that Stenger sold to Vladimir Bierko.

During Day 6, Burke appeared to assist in the interrogation of Graem Bauer. He was also standing by at CTU to interrogate Abu Fayed but didn't get the opportunity as Jack Bauer and Bill Buchanan decided that medical torture would yield no results.

Burke also appeared in the "24 Debrief" following the events of Day 6.

Lee Castle

Lee Castle [6] (portrayed by Cameron Bancroft) was a field agent during Day 4, first seen after former agent Tony Almeida returned to work at CTU on a temporary basis. He was depicted as a competent agent throughout the day and was present when CTU raided a nightclub holding Habib Marwan.

Castle was shot and killed at about 4:55am by a terrorist named Mandy.

Mike Doyle

Mike Doyle is a fictional character played by Ricky Schroder, on the FOX television show 24. He serves as the new Director of Field Operations in the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit after the death of Curtis Manning.

Mike Doyle is portrayed as ruthless but also competent as said by Milo. He tends to exceed the scope of his authority as can be seen by the way he barks orders at the techies, who are Milo Pressman's subordinates and part of a separate department to Field Ops. He also has a short temper as can be seen when he grabs Morris O'Brian by the throat when he makes a snappish comment. Ricky Schroder says that Mike Doyle is "consumed" by his job and protecting the country. "Everything else in (his) life has been put on hold. He has no personal life. He's ruthless. It doesn't matter who he hurts. It's just a means to an end."[7] He cares more about his work than personal relationships. Mike and Milo clashed while working at CTU Denver, but despite this, Mike alters his co-worker's computer records to remove evidence that Milo compromised system security by giving red-flagged Nadia his clearance code so that she could continue her work at her usual efficiency rate.

It was also hinted at that Mike had a troubled life when he quoted a line from the Qu'ran, and mentioned to Nadia that he also read "the Bible, the Upanishads...anything [he] could get [his] hands on." Initially introduced as an abusive and rigid agent, Doyle changes to a more likable character throughout the season, due to his willingness to break from his own "By the book" attitude, to do what's considered to be right by the moral standards of the majority. Such examples are when Jack's in custody and Doyle uncuffs Jack, in order to have Jack restrain Doyle (so Jack could talk the doctor out of shock therapy that would have risked the life of Audrey Raines) and defying the orders of CTU Provisional head, Nadia Yassir, in stating that "No matter what it takes, as soon as possible, he'll get Josh Bauer back."

Milo Pressman and Mike Doyle had been at odds with each other when they worked at CTU Denver. Mike Doyle became part of the romantic tensions between Milo Pressman and Nadia Yassir as he accuses both of them of "itching to sleep" with each other. Nadia's view of Doyle swerves from Milo's. As a result of Nadia's realization, Mike Doyle himself is placed into the romantic foray when it is revealed Nadia has emerging feelings for Mike. Milo is aware that Nadia has some affection for Mike. In the last episode of Season 6, Doyle is injured by a small bomb which explodes in his face during a mission to retrieve the FB sub-circuit board. Doyle is expected to survive although he may be blinded in at least one, if not both, eyes.

Erin Driscoll

Erin Driscoll is a fictional character on FOX's thriller 24. She was a season four regular played by Alberta Watson, but Watson asked that she be removed from the show midseason due to the stress of the work schedule. She replaced Tony Almeida as the Director of the Los Angeles unit of CTU who was arrested and charged with treason. Almeida aided the escape of Stephen Saunders, who was holding his wife, Michelle Dessler, hostage. He also took Saunders's daughter, Jane from CTU custody and returned her to Saunders in exchange for Dessler. CTU became aware and used this location to arrest Saunders. Driscoll ended up reinstating Almeida by the request of Jack Bauer to help handle the ongoing terrorist threat.

Driscoll's first major action was the firing of Jack Bauer, who at the time was Head of Field Operations. The ostensible reason was his usage and addiction to heroin. Bauer was addicted to heroin only so that he could maintain his cover with the Salazar brothers who were known narcoterrorist and drug dealers. Bauer was working undercover in order to bring them into custody. Driscoll claimed that this was a weakness, but according to her behavior towards him, it seems she did not like him personally and needed an excuse to fire him (her pride would not let her admit that Jack was right about many things). Bauer then went to work as a Special Assistant to Secretary of Defense James Heller.

After a train bombing in California, Driscoll reinstated Bauer to help with the investigation. Later through out the day, she gave him his former position back as Head of Field Ops (the previous head was gunned down near Jack). Driscoll had decided not to let her rivalry with Jack get in the way, and they forgave each other. Her daughter, Maya, played by Angela Goethals, suffered from schizophrenia and was brought into the CTU clinic due to reports and complaints from neighbors. Maya kept telling Driscoll that she wanted to leave but Driscoll tried to tell her that she needed to stay at CTU to handle the terrorist threats of the nuclear power plant meltdowns caused by the stolen override device.

Not long after that, Maya committed suicide by slitting her wrists in the bathroom while the ill-equipped nurses were not present. Driscoll found out about it and still tried to run CTU. She claimed it would not affect her performance as CTU Director. However, she collapsed and was sent home by Secretary James Heller. He appointed Tony Almeida as the temporary Director until a Division analyst was sent to take command. Curtis Manning, then 2nd in command of CTU strongly objected to Tony's appointment and clashed with him over personal issues. Driscoll's replacement turned out to be Michelle Dessler, who was then an Associate Special Agent in Charge at CTU Division.

Chase Edmunds

Chase Edmunds [8] (portrayed by James Badge Dale) was an agent in 24: The Game and during Day 3. He was originally based in Washington D.C. working undercover. He learned of a plot to assassinate Vice-President Prescott and flew to CTU Los Angeles to inform them of the attack.

Edmunds aided Jack Bauer in the rescue of Bauer's daughter Kim, and he assisted in the recovery of a hard drive containing information leading to the terrorists organizing the attacks. Kim Bauer was dating Edmunds during this time, keeping their relationship discrete and hidden from her father. Shortly after Edmunds became Jack Bauer's official partner, Kim Bauer disclosed their romance, causing considerable tension between the two men.

Later in the day, Edmunds strapped a virus to his arm to prevent its distribution. Jack Bauer severed Edmund's arm to secure the virus in a sealed environment and then rushed Edmunds to a hospital to have the arm reattached. The doctors were very optimistic about his chance of recovery.

After Day 3, Chase left CTU to live with Kim Bauer and raise his daughter. He moved to Valencia where he found employment as a private security guard. The couple broke up shortly after Kim Bauer was informed that her father died.

Jamey Farrell

Jamey Farrell [9] (portrayed by Karina Arroyave) was an analyst turned mole during Day 1. She investigated the threat on Senator David Palmer's life and also investigated a CTU key card suspected of being used to smuggle information.

Farrell betrayed Teri Bauer, allowing Bauer to be captured by Ira Gaines' henchmen. Tony Almeida discovered Farrell's duplicity, and she was handcuffed and taken into custody. Soon after, she was discovered bleeding profusely from an apparent suicide attempt and subsequently died from her wounds. It was later revealed that Nina Myers murdered her.

Sarah Gavin

Sarah Gavin [10] is a fictional character from the TV series 24, played by Lana Parrilla. Introduced as a recurring character in the show's fourth season, the character became a regular midway through the season, but was dropped altogether a few episodes later.

At the start of Day 4, Sarah is an analyst at CTU, working closely with Chloe O'Brian, Edgar Stiles, and Marianne Taylor. When Marianne, a mole at CTU working for the company McLennan-Forrester, believes her cover to be threatened, she plants evidence implicating Sarah as the mole, and Sarah is promptly taken into custody.

When Sarah denies any knowledge of this, CTU Director Erin Driscoll authorizes the use of torture to get her to cooperate. Edgar eventually discovers evidence revealing Marianne as the true mole and Sarah is released.

Sarah would later demand promotion from Driscoll as compensation for her ordeal. Driscoll appears receptive to this demand though she steps down as Director of CTU later that day for personal reasons. When Sarah attempts to make the same demand from Driscoll's replacement, Michelle Dessler, Michelle relieves her of duty, unwilling to deal with Sarah's personal disputes in the midst of a national crisis. Chloe (who had been relieved of duty by Driscoll for insubordination earlier that day) is reinstated to replace her.

Sarah has not been mentioned or seen since her dismissal, and her current whereabouts are unknown.

Alberta Green

Alberta Green [11] (portrayed by Tamara Tunie) was a division director brought in during Day 1 to find Jack Bauer and to destroy any party threatening Senator David Palmer.

Seemingly ruthless, she gave a speech asserting her authority. She stated that anyone assisting Bauer would be punished and suspended. When she noticed tension between Nina Myers and Tony Almeida, she suspected that they might be in contact with Bauer and threatened to suspend them.

She lost her authority after the arrival of Ryan Chappelle, and was later replaced by George Mason.

Brad Hammond

Brad Hammond is a fictional character in the Second and Third season of the TV series 24. Brad Hammond checks in briefly after the bombing of CTU to check the level of operations. He wanted to shut things down, but he is convinced not to do so by George Mason. After Tony Almeida and Michelle Dessler incapacitated Ryan Chappelle a few hours later, Brad Hammond calls CTU to ask where Chappelle is. Tony Almeida tells Hammond that he does not know where Chappelle is. Hammond becomes suspicious. Later on, Hammond goes back to CTU and locks it down because of a phone call by Carrie Turner. Hammond believed that Tony was responsible for Chappelle's disappearance and was helping Jack Bauer against Division orders. He released Chappelle from the holding room Tony and Michelle had locked him in.

In Day 3 Brad Hammond is first seen in a meeting with President David Palmer, he then comes to CTU after Tony is taken into custody for his acts in helping Stephen Saunders to escape. He interrogates Tony at CTU and informed him that he was guilty of treason and might even get the death penalty. Hammond has an argument with Michelle about what happened with Tony and told her he helped Saunders escape, which she didn't know. Later on, Tony is needed on the floor to help Jack in his final run to stop the Cordilla virus. Michelle Dessler asks Hammond to release him, but he refused. When Michelle told him he was wasting time and to run tactical himself, he let Tony go and help Jack, just to take him into custody again as soon as the threat had passed.

Teddy Hanlin

Teddy Hanlin [12] (portrayed by Kirk Baltz) was a sniper working for the Counter Terrorism Unit during Day 1. He held a grudge against Jack Bauer after Bauer arrested his partner, Seth Campbell, for taking bribes. Hanlin never forgave Bauer for this.

Valerie Harris

Valerie Harris [13] (portrayed by Jenny Levine) worked for the Department of Homeland Security and was brought into CTU Los Angeles to replace Chloe O'Brian during Day 5. When O'Brian was kept on staff, Harris was assigned to another station.

Adam Kaufman

Adam Kaufman is a fictional character from the TV series 24, played by Zachary Quinto. He was introduced at the beginning of the third season and appeared in all but one episode that season but has not been seen or mentioned since. Chronologically, Adam's first appearance is in 24: The Game when he is brought into CTU as an analyst. He replaces Sean Walker who was executed after being taken hostage during an attack on CTU. He assists CTU by cracking several codes, extracting files, and locating the site where terrorists have planted a bomb.

Adam is still working at CTU at the start of the third season, though he has developed an adversarial relationship with fellow analyst Chloe O'Brian. Chloe believes that Adam has a problem working with women, despite her abrasive and sarcastic personality sometimes clashing with that of her coworkers. Adam also has some initial difficulties with Kim Bauer because he believes her to be inexperienced, and suspects that she is only at CTU because her father Jack Bauer arranged for her to be there. Jack seems to confirm this by telling Chase and Kim that he wanted Kim to work at CTU so that she would be out of harm's way. He backs off once she proves herself capable.

The search for the Cordilla virus throughout the day hits Adam personally. An infected guest leaves the Chandler Plaza Hotel, the site of Stephen Saunders' demonstration of the virus. This leads to Adam realizing his sister is infected. Although he knows that his sister will die soon, as the modified Cordilla virus kills everyone who contracts it, he continues his work diligently. Adam is apparently no longer working at CTU-LA at the start of the fourth season. The circumstances of his departure and his whereabouts are unknown. It is possible that he left CTU due to the death of his sister.

Ronnie Lobell

Ronnie Lobell [14] (portrayed by Shawn Doyle) was the Director of Field Operations at the start of Day 4.

Lobell led the team that apprehended the terrorist Tomas Sherek who was connected to a train bombing less than an hour earlier. He later accompanied Jack Bauer to locate Kalil Hassan, who was working with the group that had abducted Secretary of Defense James Heller. Bauer wanted to follow Hasan, hoping he would lead them to Heller, but Lobell insisted on apprehending Hassan immediately, and handcuffed Bauer to a railing to prevent him from interfering. Unfortunately, Hassan spotted them and shot Lobell, fatally wounding him. He managed to give Bauer the keys to the handcuffs before dying.

George Mason

George Mason [15] (portrayed by Xander Berkeley) was a district manager during Day 1, promoted to Director of CTU LA for Days 1 and 2.

Mason was first seen in CTU helping Jack Bauer in the search for a mole inside CTU. After Alberta Green was relieved of her command, Mason arrived to replace her. He oversaw all CTU operations for the rest of the day and prevented Bauer from killing Nina Meyers, who was revealed to be the mole.

During Day 2, he assisted in the capture of a nuclear device, inadvertently exposing himself to a lethal dose of radiation. Once his symptoms appeared, it was evident that he was not fit to continue as Director and didn't have long to live. He sacrificed his life flying a plane laden with a nuclear bomb to the Mojave desert where it would detonate away from populated areas.

Lynn McGill

Lynn McGill [16] (portrayed by Sean Astin) was an upper-level administrator from the Regional Division of CTU. During Day 5's hostage crisis at Ontario Airport, he was appointed by the White House to CTU-Los Angeles to supervise Bill Buchanan and the rest of the Los Angeles staff. Although initially confident, McGill's competence came into question as he worked and operated with a rigid and unyielding "by the book" naïveté. This eventually led to his removal from command.

Later that day, McGill's stolen keycard was used to gain access for a deployment of deadly Sentox nerve gas into the CTU facility. About 40% of CTU staffers perished from exposure, but McGill survived in a sealed holding cell. To disperse the gas, he decided to sacrifice his life by leaving the protected area to disable a rogue program interfering with the ventilation system.

Upon returning to the room, McGill heard over the intercom that he saved the lives of everyone still alive inside CTU. Having exposed himself to the lethal gas, he fell and died in a puddle of his own vomit. The remaining CTU staffers watched McGill's death throes in horror, owing their lives to his valiant effort.

Gael Ortega

Gael Ortega [17], played by Jesse Borrego, appeared in the show's third season. Gael is an experienced intelligence agent, having worked for CTU for two years, after having worked for the CIA for five years, including a posting at Langley.

Approximately a month prior to Day 3, Jack Bauer learned of a shipment of the deadly Cordilla supposedly in the possession of Ukrainian scientists represented by Michael Amador. After Jack recommended drug dealers Ramon and Hector Salazar as potential buyers, he, along with Gael and Tony Almeida orchestrated an elaborate sting operation in which Jack would infiltrate the Salazar's operation and gain their trust by breaking Ramon out of prison. Their intention was to locate the virus and have CTU and military personnel seize during the exchange.

Using a small sample of the virus, an infected corpse was dumped at the L.A. branch of Health and Human Services, and a recorded message was sent demanding Ramon's release or his men would infect the city's population. Jack then appeared to go rogue and break Ramon out of prison on his own. While Jack broke Ramon out of prison and brought him to Mexico, Gael served as a mole within CTU, relaying information back to Hector. The plan was nearly derailed a number of times, with Jack nearly being taken down at several points, Tony being shot during an incident with one of Salazar's men, and Gael being caught in the act by Kim Bauer. After Kim was found by Adam Kaufman, Gael attempted to escape but was captured and interrogated under torture by Ryan Chappelle. In the middle of questioning Gael, Tony entered, having recovered, and revealed the truth about their plan to Chappelle.

The efforts to secure the virus in Mexico failed as the Ukrainian's scientists' deal proved to be simply a ruse by Amador to make money. The virus was actually in the possession of Amador's true employer, Stephen Saunders, a British intelligence agent turned terrorist who intended to use the virus against American targets. One of these targets was the Chandler Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Gael and Michelle Dessler went to the hotel to contain the virus. Gael personally tried to stop a viral device from detonating the hotel's ventilation system, but it exploded in his face, infecting him and most of the hotel's guests and staff. Despite knowing the virus to cause a slow, painful death Gael declined the option of suicide due to his religious beliefs. He died soon after. Hours later, Gael's wife Theresa arrived at CTU to pick up his belongings. While there, she recognized Saunders (who had been captured by CTU) as the one ultimately responsible for her husband's death. Drawing a gun from Gael's affects, she shot and killed him.

Miles Papazian

Miles Papazian is a fictional character played by Stephen Spinella in the television series 24. Papazian works for the Department of Homeland Security during the events of Day 5 and is called in after a nerve gas attack on CTU. Miles is a bureaucrat sent by Homeland Security to smoothly transition new workers to replace the remaining staff members at CTU following a terrorist attack. Working with Karen Hayes, the two are quickly able to usurp control of CTU from Bill Buchanan.

Miles is not afraid to play dirty in order to succeed. He forces Audrey Raines to sign a statement blaming Buchanan for CTU's failures that day in exchange for retaining Chloe O'Brian. When President Charles Logan issues an order to arrest Jack Bauer, when Miles believes that Audrey will lead them to him and places a tracer on her car. Later, he uses Shari Rothenberg to trick Chloe into making a call to Jack Bauer which they are able to successfully trace. Unlike his counterpart Hayes, Miles follows orders without question, regardless of whether an order is suspicious or completely illogical. While Hayes is immediately suspicious of the President's possible reasons for arresting Bauer, Miles unquestioningly follows his orders.

After Chloe steals Miles' CTU identification card and escapes from CTU detention, Miles is able to track her to Buchanan's house. Hayes' suspicions, meanwhile, are confirmed by Shari Rothenberg, who reveals that Chloe told her President Logan is behind the day's events. Hayes then calls Buchanan to warn that Miles has sent a squad to his home to arrest Chloe. Hayes arranges for Buchanan to be brought back to CTU by the squad team and proceeds to isolate Miles from the effort to aid Jack in recovering an audio tape implicating President Logan in Former President David Palmer's murder. Miles confronts Hayes and demands to know what she is hiding. She reveals that Jack is on his way to CTU with the tape in hand. Later, Miles places a covert call to President Logan alerting him that he will intervene before the tape is played to the United States Attorney General, which ultimately saves Logan's life, as the President was preparing to commit suicide at the moment of Papazian's call.

Miles walks in and talks to Chloe as she prepares to broadcast the recording for the Attorney General. Unbeknownst to Chloe, Miles holds a small device in his hand and holds it near the digital recording, rendering it useless. Eventually, CTU discovered that Miles was behind the deletion of the recording again. He was choked by Jack Bauer, and then slapped by his former ally Karen Hayes. He then presumably leaves CTU to be transferred to his new job at the White House. With the arrest of President Charles Logan at the end of the day, his fate and career are unknown.

Ted Paulson

Ted Paulson [18] (portrayed by Kevin Ramsey) was an agent during Day 1. He was sent to protect Teri and Kim Bauer while they were at a CTU safe house. When he noticed that one of the other agents was not at his position, Paulson became wary and saw an intruder, Jovan Myovic. When Paulson trained his weapon on Myovic, another shooter named Mishko Suba stabbed him from behind.

Paulson exited the house to engage Myovic and Suba, but died several hours later from subsequent gunshot wounds.

Milo Pressman

Milo Pressman [19] (portrayed by Eric Balfour) began his CTU tenure as an independent technological contractor during Day 1. He was brought into CTU Los Angeles by Nina Myers to decode a key card containing information about an assassination plot against Senator David Palmer.

After the events of Day 1, Pressman was transferred to CTU Denver for seven years.

Pressman reappeared on Day 6 as an Internet Protocol Manager. After a failed attempt at a relationship with Chloe O'Brian, Pressman was romantically attracted to Nadia Yassir, with whom he shared a passionate kiss. When Chinese mercenaries raided CTU, Pressman was executed in an attempt to protect Yassir from harm.

Eric Richards

Eric Richards [20] (portrayed by Butch Klein) was an interrogator on Days 3 and 4.

On Day 3, when agent Gael Ortega was thought to be a mole, Richards and Ryan Chappelle interrogated him. Richards later interrogated Nina Myers with Tony Almeida.

During Day 4, Richards interrogated Audrey Raines' brother Richard Heller. When Sarah Gavin is framed by Marianne Taylor as a mole in CTU, Richards used a taser on Gavin.

Shari Rothenberg

Shari Rothenberg [21] (portrayed by Kate Mara) showed up as an analyst late in Day 5.

Two years prior, Rothenberg worked with Miles Papazian at DHS, San Francisco. She filed a grievance for sexual harassment, but with no solid evidence to back her claims, Papazian was let off with a warning.

During an attack using dispersion of Sentox nerve agent through natural gas, Rothenberg knew that the pressure within the pipes would have to be lowered before releasing the Sentox into the supply. She pointed this out to Buchanan and Chloe O'Brian so that they could monitor various PSI levels to see which distribution center was infiltrated. Because of her expertise, the release of the deadly gas into 90,000 homes was prevented.

Later, she was taken into custody for a role in helping Chloe O'Brian escape CTU custody.

Paula Schaeffer

Paula Schaeffer [22] (portrayed by Sara Gilbert) was a programmer during Day 2. Season 2. Schaeffer performed several data processing and file alterations during the first hours of the day, assisting Jack Bauer in undercover work.

CTU was attacked by a bomb while Schaeffer was going through sensitive phases of a file transfer. After the explosion, she was stuck under a girder, losing consciousness and on the verge of death. Earlier, she had encrypted all of CTU's intelligence on a nuclear threat. Awakening briefly, and with her last words, Schaeffer revealed the location of a decryption key so that the information could be used to save lives. As Schaeffer was rushed to an ambulance, she flatlined.

Harry Swinton

Harry Swinton [23] (portrayed by Peter Asle Holden) was a security officer who ended up trapped in a holding cell with Lynn McGill after McGill was relieved from command during Day 5.

During the Sentox nerve gas attack, Swinton and McGill were protected from harm in their enclosed room, but the airtight seals were breaking down. They were the only two people close enough to disable a rogue program interfering with the ventilation system, but that meant exposure to the deadly gas. Knowing they'd soon die anyway, they decided to sacrifice themselves to save the rest of the CTU facility. Swinton called his family to say goodbye, and died from Sentox poisoning shortly thereafter.

Edgar Stiles

Edgar Stiles [24] (portrayed by Louis Lombardi) was an analyst during Days 4 and 5.

Stiles was a subordinate to Chloe O'Brian but eventually asserted himself and was promoted to Senior Analyst. He prevented the meltdown of several nuclear power plants and uncovered Marianne Taylor as a mole inside CTU.

Stiles continued working for CTU during Day 5 until he was killed in the Sentox nerve gas attack. His last word before dying was "Chloe".

Marianne Taylor

Marianne Taylor is a fictional character played by Aisha Tyler in the television series 24. Although started working for CTU Los Angeles on Day 4 it is later revealed that she was involved in the terrorist plot and was recruited by Henry Powell, an associate of Habib Marwan. On the day of James Heller’s execution and the subsequent nuclear meltdown, Marianne Taylor was hired by Henry Powell to infiltrate the inner workings of CTU Los Angeles and cover his tracks in case it became necessary. She dealt solely with Powell and never learned the names of the people he was working for, although she did meet Forbes, a Marwan henchman who worked at the Rockland Building where Powell’s office was located. Powell had stored a list of his superiors’ names in a file on his computer, in case either he or Marianne needed a bargaining chip. In addition to a password, Powell’s or Marianne’s thumbprint would be needed to access the file.

Marianne had had a relationship with Curtis Manning, the Head of Tactical at CTU. Curtis broke it off when he realized she was using him to get ahead in her career. After Secretary of Defense James Heller was kidnapped, CTU called in several consultants, but because of their history, Curtis crossed Marianne’s name off the list. Marianne called CTU Director Erin Driscoll and revealed that Curtis had given her classified details about the UVX system. Not wanting to go through a security reboot and ensuing investigation, Driscoll gave her access to CTU, much to Curtis’ chagrin. When Marianne arrived, she was introduced to analysts Sarah Gavin, Chloe O'Brian, and Edgar Stiles, and learned that former agent Jack Bauer was following one of the terrorists to Heller’s possible location. However, Jack was working against Driscoll’s orders. Marianne did her work without raising suspicion, although Curtis kept a close eye on her.

Marianne overheard a conversation between Chloe and Edgar, and found out that Chloe was helping Jack, and that she needed Edgar to reposition a satellite for Jack. Later, after Chloe got caught and detained, Marianne revealed to Edgar that she had heard the conversation, and threatened to report him to Driscoll unless he did what she said. She blackmailed Edgar into giving her special clearance; she thought she might as well use her leverage to get ahead. After the execution was stopped, Jack, Heller, and Audrey Raines arrived at CTU, along with the empty Override briefcase. Marianne eavesdropped on a teleconference between Driscoll and McLennan-Forster, in which they learned about the Override. She then alerted Powell that they knew.

Marianne played along with the rest of CTU in the investigation of the Override. Jack left with Audrey to go look at surveillance footage at Felsted Security, and Marianne told Powell. Once Jack and Audrey were dead, there would be an internal investigation of CTU, so Marianne had to frame somebody else. She did so by planting a digital voice recording in Sarah’s system. Sarah was taken into custody and interrogated. Jack and Audrey survived the attack, and Marianne wanted to get out of there, but Powell ordered her to stay until he could take care of things. Edgar was able to intercept Marianne’s computer and find out that she planted the recording. Edgar went to tell Driscoll, and Marianne tried to leave the building. A lockdown was enforced, but she got out. Curtis caught her before she could get to her car and ordered another agent to impound the car. However, somebody had rigged her car with a bomb, which killed the agent when he put the key in.

Later, Marianne was put in an interrogation room, where she learned that the people behind the meltdown had killed Powell, and they were after her as well. Curtis struck up a deal with her: if she helped CTU find the Override, they would protect her. In this case, protection meant being sent to prison, but Marianne thought it was better than death, and agreed to help. The only way she knew to help CTU was the file at Powell’s office. Heller assigned Curtis to escort Marianne to the Rockland Building and retrieve the data. They arrived at the building with two guards and entered Powell’s office. Marianne used her thumbprint to log in. However, before they could enter the file, Forbes and his men broke and killed the CTU guards. Marianne insisted that the file was still secure, but Forbes had her shot dead anyway.

Carrie Turner

Carrie Turner [25] is a fictional character that was featured prominently in the second season of the series 24. Prior to Day 2, Carrie had worked at Division, working with Michelle Dessler. Carrie was Michelle's superior and the two became friends. Carrie eventually became involved with Michelle's married older brother Danny, who left his wife and children to be with Carrie. When Carrie later broke things off with Danny, he became despondent and attempted suicide. The incident marked the end of Carrie and Michelle's friendship.

Carrie is later brought into CTU to replace Paula Schaeffer, who had been killed earlier in the Day 2. Though she quickly makes a good impression on George Mason, (who was terminally ill at this point and left soon after) Michelle was understandably uncomfortable working with Carrie again. Carrie, for her part, was uncomfortable with the hierarchy at CTU, where Michelle was now her superior and quickly attempts to advance herself by reporting any suspicious activities to her superiors.

When she discovers Michelle helping Jack Bauer to get Kate Warner out of CTU, she reports her to Michelle's superior Tony Almeida, who is unable to stop Jack. Later, when Tony apparently began diverting CTU resources to locate Jack (in fact, he was attempting to help Jack), Carrie threatened to report Tony to his superior, Ryan Chappelle unless he granted Carrie a promotion over Michelle. Tony was unwilling to submit to blackmail and reported himself (as well Carrie's actions) to Chappelle first. All Carrie cared about was to get Tony and Michelle in trouble for disobeying orders.

Carrie becomes suspicious when Chappelle suddenly disappears soon after and at Tony and Michelle's activities as they continue to secretly assist Jack. Carrie eventually locates Chappelle incapacitated in a holding room. Chappelle immediately arrests Tony and Michelle.

Carrie was shocked when she sees Tony and Michelle returning to duty, having been reinstated after Mike Novick ordered Chappelle to assist Jack's investigation. Once Jack's mission is complete and war is averted, Carrie left CTU with Chappelle. On her way out, she glanced at Michelle, looking defeated. Michelle glared back at her, for not being an asset for CTU. She has not been seen since.

Sean Walker

Sean Walker [26] (voiced by Danny Cooksey) was a character in 24: The Game. Other than being personally trained by Michelle Dessler, no extensive background was given for Walker. During the course of the game, Walker helped agents Jack Bauer and Tony Almeida by providing a last known address for Robert Daniels, performing satellite scans for snipers, and decrypting a PDA found by Bauer.

Walker was executed while CTU staff were held hostage by Peter Madsen.

Richard Walsh

Richard Walsh [27] (portrayed by Michael O'Neill) was the first director of CTU in Day 1. When he learned of the threat to Senator David Palmer, he briefed the senior staff and then pulled Jack Bauer aside to explain that he believed a mole had infiltrated CTU.

Walsh went downtown to meet Scott Baylor, who gave him a key card containing information about the CTU mole. Shortly afterwards, Walsh and Baylor were ambushed and shot. Baylor was killed, and Walsh was seriously injured. Walsh then called Bauer for help. They fought their way out, but Walsh got shot again. Just before dying from his injuries, Walsh gave Bauer the key card.

Spenser Wolff

Spenser Wolff [28] (portrayed by Jonah Lotan) was an analyst and covert government operative during Day 5. He had an affair with Chloe O'Brian, but she said that their tryst was a mistake.

Later, O'Brian saw that Wolff was accessing a server that he wasn't cleared for, so he was brought into custody for accessing sensitive files. Under questioning, he admitted that he had been working for the White House under Walt Cummings.

Eventually, he was released to hack the security of a building owned by terrorist Jacob Rossler so Jack Bauer and Curtis Manning could move in and arrest him. After this assignment was completed, O'Brian fired him.
