Cirsonella paradoxa is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.
Distribution
This species is endemic to New Zealand's Three Kings Islands.
Habitat
This species is found at depths of about 475 m.
Shell description
The shell is minute, depressed-turbinate, solid, and widely umbilicate. The surface is crowded with dense, extra fine spiral lirae, and the lower half of the base, including the umbilicus, is crowded with strong radial folds. The aperture and thickened peristome are circular and entire, not attached to the body whorl.
Shell coloration is white.
The shell height is up to 1.05 mm, and the width is up to 1.45 mm.
