Pedro Fernández de Velasco, 2nd Count of Haro

Pedro Fernández de Velasco (Burgos 1425 - Granada 1492) was the sixth Constable of Castile and second Count of Haro.

Ha was also Camarero Mayor of King Henry IV of Castile, Viceroy and Governor of Castile, Lord of Medina de Pomar, of Briviesca, of Villadiego, of Belorado, of Salas de los Infantes y su Sierra, of los Valles de Soba y Ruesga, etc.

In 1473 Henry IV named him sixth Constable of Castile and made this title hereditary.

He participated in the conquest of Úbeda and Baeza, which both occurred on Saint Andrew's day. He also fought against the Moors in the battles of Gibraltar and Archidona and participated in the conquest of Granada.

He married with Mencía de Mendoza y Figueroa and had six children.
