Three Solar power plants in Central Australia have been completed by Solar Systems at Hermannsburg, Yuendumu and Lajamanu. These are solar concentrator dish power stations which together generate 720kW and 1,555,000 kWh per year, representing a saving of 420,000 litres of diesel and 1,550 tonnes of greenhouse emissions.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).

The project won a prestigious Engineering Excellence award in 2005.[1]
