Statement by LegendaryChristopher
I have filed this arbitration case request because both of these editors have been making edits to any article regarding the war in Ukraine with personal bias. One of the editors, Mzajac, who is an administrator, also proceeded to censor any other editors attempts to suggest any changes be made, using the Wikipedia guidelines as a reason, even though none of the changes requested would've violated any of the guidelines. Both of these editors have made statements on many of the talking pages of articles related to the war in Ukraine. Many of these statements tend to show that both of these editors have an undeniable bias towards one side in the conflict, which makes their neutrality questionable. Knowing this, I believe they both should be reprimanded for this. It's unbecoming of an editor to use their personal opinion when making edits on any article, especially one regarding a current event. The reason for not making any attempts at a resolution is because it's impossible due to these editors persistence when regarding the matter. Any attempts by other editors to find any agreement with them always become an argument, which I did not want to deal with. I hope this case will be resolved with a satisfactory response.<!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned comment added by LegendaryChristopher (talk • contribs) 19:03, 3 January 2024 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:Xsign -->

:This is just not true, I'm not wasting anyone time. I want action to be taken by other editors when regarding the integrity and honesty of other editors. The statements I made which you link aren't personal attacks but concerns about how some editors especially one that is a admin have made statements that makes their neutrality questionable especially if their editing a article that is about a current event such as the war in Ukraine. :Most of these so called advices were not justified as I wasn't violating any of the Wiki guidelines. As you saw most of these advices were from the same three editors. The fact that two editors have now called for me to be banned proves my points that I've made. In regards to your question regarding any attempt of resolution. I decided not to make any attempt due to the fact that both of the editors that I have filed the case against wouldn't have been possible due to their persistence which I mentioned in the request. Like I said in the request and any attempts by other editors to to have an agreement over a discussion in many of the talk pages of articles regarding the war in Ukraine always end up in an argument which is why I decided against trying to find any resolution since wasn't possible. ::Primefac,Both Mzajac & My very best wishes have made statements which shows they have a personal biasness towards the Ukrainian side and refuse to discuss with other editors in a logical way in Talk:2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive, Talk:Battle of Bakhmut, and Talk:Battle of Marinka (2022–2023). They have even resorted to removing comments from anyone questioning their neutrality. :::@Barkeep49 My proof is in the talk pages for Talk:Battle of Bakhmut, Talk:2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive, and Talk:Battle of Marinka (2022–2023), where both editors My very best wishes and Mzajac have constantly censor other editors by removing their topic from the talk pages or remove thier messages when another editor makes a reasonable argument against them going as far as to start accusing other's of being Pro-Russian without reason or proof. ::::Daniel you are ignoring the other half of my argument that I wrote in my statement which was the argument that both editors neutrality was questionable due to some of their actions and edits they have made in articles and talk pages related to the war in Ukraine. Such as Pro-Ukraine biasness, censoring editors who make an argument against theirs, and removing editor's topics in the talk pages, also accusing others of being bias such Pro-Russian or Anti-Ukraine without cause or proof and even using negative terms such as "Shill" as insults. I would also like to add that one of the editors My very best wishes has a very Anti-Russian stance going as far to accuse Russia of being fascist without proof or source in own talk page User talk:My very best wishes. The other editor who is a administrator as well Mzajac has had a arbitration request case filed against them before for almost the same reason I'm filing. I ask that you checked this information I provided you before making any decisions. === Statement by Mzajac ===

I always try to edit with a WP:NPOV. My usual subject areas are contentious topics, editors have various POVs, and we work out consensus article text, often with disagreements and back-and-forth discussions until issues are resolved. So it goes.

LegendaryChristopher is active in pages where there are ongoing, inconclusive disputes on simple factual questions, like whether the infobox should include an end date or an “X victory” conclusion, but where many editors agree to disagree, work towards a resolution, and nothing worth getting worked up about. (Examples are Battle of Bakhmut and 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive.)

This arbitration case is brought on by over-enthusiasm in a contentious topic, an inability to accept disagreement, and a refusal to abide by the general sanctions. I hope the user can channel their energy into constructive editing.

LegendaryChristopher received both WP:CTOP and WP:GS alerts on December 2. As a non-extended-confirmed user with 128 edits they are not permitted to edit articles or talk pages on the subject of the Russo-Ukrainian War, with some exceptions. Since receiving the alert, they have made 69 edits, a few in User_talk: and Wikipedia: space, but all 57 article and talk page edits are in the subject area of the Russo-Ukrainian War. I believe their edits have not been productive or helpful, and in cases have violated the general sanction and been disruptive. I wonder if they can spend some time editing constructively in topics where they can get started in Wikipedia without feeling the need for arbitration.&nbsp;—Michael&nbsp;Z. 20:24, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

:Yes, I have removed comments violating WP:GS/RUSUKR, including a number by LegendaryChristopher, most recently an uncivil accusatory remark and a series of various non-EC users’ comments in a project discussion (RFC) on a talk page where non-EC comments have become disruptive by starting many redundant discussions on the same subject as an ongoing RFC. &nbsp;—Michael&nbsp;Z. 20:36, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Statement by Super Dromaeosaurus
Inexperienced editors like LegendaryChristopher wasting the time of established editors like this should be swiftly banned. Note personal attacks too : Super Dromaeosaurus (talk) 19:16, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Statement by SN54129
LegendaryChristopher has a talk-page litany of advice and/or warnings from both experienced editors and admins. The fact that they have clearly refused even to read, let alone be persuaded by, the useful links covering their page is testament to either their inability to understand or a refusal to do so. Their presence is wholly unnecessary to the project and their contributions unhelpful. Please remove the editor for cause. In any case, LegendaryChristopher, have you attempted other available forms of dispute resolution yet? If so, why aren't they linked to, above? If they haven't been attempted, then why not? === Statement by Daniel ===
Per the CT template at the top of Talk:Russian invasion of Ukraine:

:Only extended-confirmed editors may make edits related to the topic area...non-extended-confirmed editors may not make edits to internal project discussions related to the topic area, even on article talk pages. Internal project discussions include, but are not limited to, Articles for deletion nominations, WikiProjects, requests for comment, requested moves, and noticeboard discussions.

I believe that, as a non-extended confirmed editor, LegendaryChristopher has no standing to file this request per this CT designation. Daniel (talk) 22:02, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
:In addition to this being yet another breach of the extended confirmed CT restriction (discussing the topic area on internal project discussion pages), the applicant is now nearly 50% over their allowed word count (743 words). Failure to follow rules and instructions seems to be an ongoing issue for this editor, and per SN54129, I believe the community's patience will run out shortly and they will be indefinitely blocked from editing should this pattern continue. *LegendaryChristopher, you have made many a statement but have provided little to support it. Towards the end of your statement you say - could you please point to a discussion or two where this has happened? Primefac (talk) 19:57, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
*Normally I'd have advocated for clerks to remove this as premature given the lack of supporting evidence that is required to file a case. However, because I am aware of last February's AE report I am open to a very short window - as in hours - for that to be fixed. Otherwise it should be removed. Either way I do not think this case request should stop any uninvolved admin from acting on SN's thinking if they feel it appropriate under relevant policies and procedures. Barkeep49 (talk) 21:19, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
*:I am reasonably convinced by what Daniel says and do not feel that BANEX applies. While ArbCom could make an exception, I don't think it should in this circumstance and have emailed the clerks suggesting this case be procedurally removed. This is over and above my concerns stated above. Barkeep49 (talk) 22:32, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
