In the 3rd quarter of 2017, the station began its test broadcast under the name Ateneo Campus Radio.[5] On February 14, 2018, it had its soft launch as Radyo Katipunan, coinciding both Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day. This time, it is jointly run by ADMU and JesCom[1]

On August 28, 2018, Radyo Katipunan was officially launched, with the addition of simulcasting (another Catholic-run station) Veritas 846 during mornings. In addition, the station provided news updates from Rappler and Voice of America.[6]
