The Embassy of the United States in Windhoek is the diplomatic mission of the United States of America in Namibia.

History
Diplomatic relations between Namibia and the United States were established on March 21, 1990, coinciding with Namibia's independence from South Africa. On this date, the existing U.S. Liaison Office in Windhoek was elevated to embassy status, and Roger A. McGuire took the position as Chargé d'Affaires ad interim. McGuire would later win three Superior Honor Awards from the State Department. His third award was in 1991 for his "lasting contribution to democracy and self-determination in Africa."
