Royel Otis are an Australian guitar-pop[1] from Sydney. The name is a combination of their first names.[1]

History

2019–present: Formation and Strawberry Skies

Maddell and Pavlovic had known of each other around the Byron Bay area before Pavlovic sent Maddel some demos in 2019, with Pavlovic claiming this was "the collaboration he'd been chasing his whole life".[2]

In October 2021, the duo released their debut EP Campus.[3]. This was followed in August 2022, with Bar & Grill[4]

Their third EP Sofa Kings, release in March 2023 peaked at number 43 on the ARIA charts following it's physical release in July 2023.[5]
