The 2023–24 EFL Championship (referred to as the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship reasons) will be the 20th season of the Football League Championship under its current title and the 32nd season under its current league division format.

Twenty-four teams will compete in the league – eighteen returning teams from the previous season, three teams relegated from the Premier League and three teams promoted from League One. Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton have been relegated from the Premier League and Plymouth Argyle, Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday have been promoted from League One.
