In December 2021 AAP leader and Chief minister candidate, Amit Palekar, organised agitation against the construction of illegal buildings. AAP decided to carry out every project with citizens' consent. AAP promised to increase the remuneration provided to women in Goa under a state-sponsored scheme. It promised financial assistance to women not covered under it.

During the NDTV Townhall event, Arvind Kejriwal said, "The people of Goa have a choice between AAP and BJP. If you want a clean, honest government, you can vote for AAP. The other option is to vote for the BJP directly or indirectly. AAP contested the election for 39 seats and left one seat for independent Dr. Chandrakant Shetye in [[Bicholim (Goa Assembly constituency)|Bicholim]].
