Notice

The article 2021 CS Denis Ten Memorial Challenge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The upcoming event doesn't meet WP:INDEPENDENT, WP:MULTSOURCES and WP:CORPDEPTH. I

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2021 Skate America, you may be blocked from editing. Per WP:LIVESCORE sports results are not included till the end of the competition. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 18:55, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Sportsfan 1234: This is common practice in the figure skating editing community. I don't see how it's your business or right to police my ability to do this. It is not vandalism, and my reporting is accurate. Please stop deleting my edits. Go ahead and report me if you really feel so strongly. I have reviewed the page you're referring to, and there is nothing there prohibiting me from continuing. Clemkr (talk) 18:59, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:51, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Marilena Kitromilis moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Marilena Kitromilis, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 18:52, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Marilena Kitromilis has been accepted

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

Sorry, I shouldn't have reverted multiple times. Nevertheless, MOS:FLAG states plainly that flags aren't necessary at all and in unclear situations should be avoided. I won't continue to argue this point, though. I genuinely appreciate all of your contributions to figure skating articles and I'm sorry if I've upset you. Hergilei (talk) 02:20, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Hergilei: It appears that we aren't going to come together on this. I still disagree that the page you've linked is applicable to this situation as I don't see how "country represented" would be confused with citizenship. There really is no lack of clarity, in my opinion. He represents Poland. He formerly represented Russia. That much is inarguable. That page has been a pet project of mine since it was a draft all the way back in 2017, so I perhaps feel a bit more defensive than I ordinarily would. We can leave it alone. Edit summary field

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Abbyjjjj96 (talk) 02:22, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022

Last year you did the article for 2021 Channel One Trophy. Will you be doing the one for 2022? It seems like Valieva will participate according to this [1]. ErnestKrause (talk) 18:13, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Veronika Zhilina

Information icon Hello, Clemkr. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Veronika Zhilina, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 18:16, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The article Hektor Giotopoulos Moore has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. BLP warning

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

As a note you must source all statements in a BLP, continued failure to do so will result in a block. CUPIDICAE💕 14:17, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
