The ending of the section "Kuru vansham" contains the following text, which is redundant because "Chitrangada" and "Vidura" have been added to the Kuru family tree: Some siblings of the characters shown here have been left out for clarity; these include Chitrāngada, the eldest brother of Vichitravirya. Vidura, half-brother to Dhritarashtra and Pandu. [1] AdishWarJain (talk) 20:58, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Historicity

I think it is time to create an entirely new page dedicated to the Historicity of the Mahabharata. We have Historicity of the Homeric epics. Why not such a page for something 8x larger? ChandlerMinh (talk) 15:57, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ChandlerMinh, its required, but you can create that yourself. Why ask someone else. I wonder why no one has created it till now.--2409:4073:30A:9DC6:4C47:FBB9:8A80:E55F (talk) 12:07, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

From this very article: The first section of the Mahābhārata states that it was Ganesha who wrote down the text to Vyasa's dictation, but this is regarded by scholars as a later interpolation to the epic and the "Critical Edition" doesn't include Ganesha at all.CM
