Exactly ten years to the Passion Fruit release, the German pop group [[Cherona]] released its version titled "Rigga-Ding-Dong-Song" in 2009 dropping the definite article "the" from the title. The Cherona version on Columbia Records accompanied by a music video<ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3f43xmRqxOM YouTube CheronaVEVO - Rigga-Ding-Dong-Song]</ref> became a minor hit in Europe, particularly Germany (peak #56) and Austria (peak #48). "The Rigga Ding Dong Song" is a 1999 song by the group Passion Fruit, the group's most successful hit. The single reached the Top 10 in 14 countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland and Top 20 in the Netherlands. It became a number 1 hit in Mexico. The song reached number 15 on the Dutch charts. The original line-up can be seen in the single's cover sleeve and music video.[1]
