:A ping is a [[Help:Notifications|notification]] that a user receives if their username is linked somewhere in a message that also includes a signature, for example, if you had written <nowiki>[[User:Alexis Jazz]] or {{u|Alexis Jazz}}</nowiki> in your message I would have been notified. I'm not sure how things work in the Android app, you may have more convenient ways at your disposal to mention people. I'm not generally wary of newcomers, only of those who refer to [[fascism]] when talking about other Wikipedians. Writing "u" instead of "you" doesn't particularly motivate others to help out either. When you find yourself in a (potential) [[WP:EDITWAR|edit war]], go to [[Talk:Back in Black|the associated talk page of the article]] instead and start a discussion on the issue at hand. When a consensus has been formed the article can (if needed) be adjusted accordingly. — <span style="color:#e08020">Alexis Jazz</span> ([[User talk:Alexis Jazz|talk]] or ping me) 05:44, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to The Aristocrats (film) have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 06:49, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm FlightTime. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Back in Black, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 03:11, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

hi, im not completely fluent at Wikipedia protocols, but the info I added was merely pointing out the speculative nature of the corresponding Wikipedia page on Top Selling Albums. i feel it is more accurate than claiming it is absolute (fact) David M Medlar (talk) 03:20, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Back in Black, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 03:33, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly is disruptive editing & who is the authority that determines it ? Thanx 4 ur time! Cheers ! David M Medlar (talk) 03:46, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Saying a fellow Wikipedian has a semi-fascist attitude is a great way to get blocked real fast.

Don't do that. Please assume good faith instead.Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 04:33, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

why does 'everyone' keep talking about getting "blocked" instead of adressing the contentious issues & solving them ?!? This is bizarre... I can only assume u have so much experience here (on Wikipedia), that u r wary & feeled burdened by newcomers.

I'm not sure this "Flighttime" fellow understands the meaning of speculate...he is apparemtly a devout AC/DC fan though ! Lol

what is ping ?? thanx. cheers. David M Medlar (talk) 04:41, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
