Carambolage

Carambolage is not an English word, so please stop adding it to an English language encylopedia.

First off, it's encyclopedia, encylopedia. Second, by origin, accident is also a French word. And third, who cares? It's just a fancy way of saying pile-up. Because its usage is inappropriate. "Carambolage" is not an English word and has no common usage in English. Per MOS:FOREIGN, its usage is inappropriate since there is a clear English equivalent. Using a foreign word is incorrect not only because this is the English version of Wikipedia but also because it is likely to confuse readers.

Why are we starting an argument about this? - it's not a fancy way of saying pile-up. It's a way of saying pile-up in another language. We don't say it happened on dimanche.
