HRnetGroup provides professional recruitment and flexible staffing to finance, industrial, FMCG, retail, and technology, sector around the globe.[1][2][3][4]

About

HRnetGroup was founded in 1992 by Peter Sim, a former human resources director at Thomson Consumer Electronics and Honeywell. HRnetGroup started off as a 4-person team. The first overseas office of the HRnetGroup was opened in Kuala Lumpur in 1994. Today, HRnetGroup has over 900 consultants based across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Tokyo and Seoul.[1],[5][6][7][8]

HRnetGroup is the largest shareholder of AIM-listed Staffline Group, largest recruitment firm of UK, holding 29.9% of the company.[9][dead link][10]  The company acquired 51 per cent stake in REForce (Shanghai) Human Resources Management Consulting in 2018.[11][12] HRNetGroup founded RecruitFirst (Taiwan) Pte Ltd (RFTPL) in 2019.[13]

Expansion & Acquisitions

HRnetGroup is the largest shareholder of AIM-listed Staffline Group, one of the largest blue-collar staffing firms in the UK, holding 29.9% of the company.[14][15]  

In February 2018, HRnetGroup Limited made a strategic investment in Glints.[16]  

The company acquired 51 per cent stake in REForce (Shanghai) Human Resources Management Consulting in 2018.[17][18] HRNetGroup founded RecruitFirst (Taiwan) Pte Ltd (RFTPL) in 2019.[19]

Growth and funding

In 2016, Heliconia Capital, a unit of Singapore investment firm Temasek Holdings, invested in HRnetGroup.[20]

In June 2017, HRnetGroup raised S$174m on the Singapore Exchange from institutional and other investors including Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited, Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad, Credit Suisse AG, Singapore Branch, and Credit Suisse AG, Hong Kong Branch, FIL Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited, Meiji Yasuda Asset Management Company Ltd., TechnoPro Holdings, Inc., and en-Japan Inc.[21][22][23]

HRnetGroup reported revenue of S$ 319.9 for FY 2017 and S$428.5 for the FY 2018. 11 In 2018 the company’s full-year profit climbed 16.6% to $48.2m as compared to FY 2017.12 In 2019 company’s net profit grew 7.1 % to S$51.6 million as compared to FY 2018.13

Awards

In 2018, HRnetGroup won “The Enterprise Award” at the Singapore Business Awards, organized by The Business Times and DHL.[24][25][26]
