- 21:1721:17, 8 January 2023 diff hist −1,117 Born again The writer of this article quotes an organisation called Central Yearly Meeting of Friends, which s/he says is "a Holiness Quaker denomination". This organisation may exist but as a lifelong Quaker (for over half a century) I have never heard of it. The writer appears to be seriously misinformed. and, at best, generalising from their understanding of the views of a splinter group to attribute those views to the Quaker movement as a whole. There are evangelical splinter groups from the main Quaker movement but they are in a minority. Quakers in their original and main form are non-doctrinal, not part of the evangelical movement, and do not engage in the 'born again' approach.
