We (I'm french) do not. We call them "états-uniens", which translates to "united-statians". While it can be used to mean "USA inhabitants" in a very colloquial way especially by non-educated people, the term "américain" in french geography and demographics is strictly defined and refers to any inhabitant of the american continent.
