Comparing the 1630 painting to the 1615 painting in the tweet shows that they are obviously different. Alas, the 1615 painting does not seem to have an image in Wikimedia Commons; see https://www.dorotheum.com/en/l/5440566/ and https://www.dorotheum.com/en/l/6416766/ for images and a description.

The old one was confused and misunderstood what she was saying. The larger audience had no problem in accepting the keyboard—it was a traditional interface for instruments. The problem was that the keyboard interface limited what you could do with electronic music—hence the belief (held, not by the larger public, but by Buchla and his followers) that it was inappropriate.

At that time Asanagi and her sister Yuunagi were in the 29th Destroyer Division and were both still supporting the Japanese occupation of the Gilbert Islands; they were then moved to support the second assault on Wake (on 23 December). current
