The use of the word "shrinkwrapped" is probably not appropriate here because it reflects an opinion of the author regarding the artist's reconstruction. That word is used within the paleontology community to refer to some ways that prehistoric animals are classically reconstructed. "Speculative" is a more general, less opinionated term that still communicates to the layman viewer that the restoration makes some artistic license.
