- 04:2704:27, 16 May 2024 diff hist −1 R44 (New York City Subway car) →Staten Island Railway cars: Changing the age for the SIR R44 cars because the SIR cars were built and went into service in 1973. So that means that the R44 are more like 51 years old not 52. The NYCT R44s which are no longer in service since 2010 entered service in 1971. So lets please be more accurate and only refer to the SIR R44s that are currently in service. current

- 18:2418:24, 1 May 2023 diff hist 0 R44 (New York City Subway car) Changed the years of when the Staten Island Railway R44s are expected to retire because the R211S pilot train has not been delivered yet and full delivery of the R211S's is not expected to be completed until 2025 because of labor issues at Kawasaki's Nebraska factory. The remaining R44's on the Staten Island Railway is not expected to begin retirement until 2024 and finish retirement until 2025. This is all acording to the R211 article so no sourse needed.
