Putin is an upcoming biographical film to be released on 26 September 2024, directed by Polish director Patryk Vega, known as Besaleel, which is about the life of Russian president Vladímir Putin.

Synopsis[edit]

It covers the life of Vladimir Putin from the age of ten, through sixty years of many events in his real life,[1][2] until his fictional death.[3]

Production[edit]

The film was produced by independent production and distribution company XYZEl[4] and was shot in Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Syria, Jordan and Poland.[2]

Polish studio AIO created the technology to make the film.[2] Putin was recreated with computer-generated imagery and artificial intelligence in the body of a Polish actor,[3][1][5] being the first time in the history of cinema that this will be used for a leading character in a film.[2]

Distribution[edit]

It was shown to international distributors at the Cannes Festival. It will be presented in nearly fifty countries.[4]
