We seem to have two images here now. Not sure why. What's going on? Johnfos (talk) 21:32, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Portrait format images are not really suitable for the portal, as at standard width they are too large, and are pushing the following sections further down while a lot of empty space is generated on either side of the image and on the bottom of the right column. If the image size is adjusted so that its height is equal with the standard image height, than the image becomes too small. In absence of a better replacement I chose this later option and added a related image, basically, similar to picture 12. However this is not ideal and should be replaced with a nice landscape image. Same with picture 19 atm. --Elekhh (talk) 05:01, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Have you actually looked on the main portal page to see how this has come out -- one image on top of the other -- is that really what you want? I honestly don't see a major problem with a single portrait image. Johnfos (talk) 05:42, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh really, not with my browser (Firefox)... well I remove one than, but am still the opinion that large portrait image does not look good, and we should only select landscape format images. --Elekhh (talk) 05:46, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
