I was wondering whether we could set it as a formal rule that we replace the oldest DYKs first (the Lamborghini, Jeep and Mustang were in fact older than the Flaminia)? That way, we would ensure that there is some rotation and you won't be seeing the same DYKs all the time. Moreover, perhaps we could set a given number number of DYKs displayed at one time? Now we have swapped three for one, and previously the number has also fluctuated.

I was also wondering whether we could set up a fixed schedule of DYK changes, perhaps once a week. Then we could add new DYKs to a "commented" list below the actual DYKs and gradually replace the oldest displayed one with the oldest one on the list every week? Adding dates of placement (commented in the displayed DYK list) could also make it a lot easier to maintain this feature. What do you guys think? Bravada, talk - 21:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
